I replaced my old desktop replacement laptop with this monitor and the Acer Aspire 3400. I rotate the physical screen 90 degrees and view it while laying down on the floor. The colors and contrast are great and there are no reflections due to a non-glossy screen. My old laptop had a glossy screen but I cannot perceive a color/contrast downgrade in this Acer monitor.
